Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Apptmint platform and website at apptmint.co.uk (the "Service") operated by Apptmint Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Apptmint provides appointment scheduling, client management, billing and practice management software for UK businesses. The Service is provided on a subscription basis as described on our Pricing page.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
All prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
We offer a 30-day free trial on all plans. No credit card is required to start a trial.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
No refunds are given for partial billing periods.
You may export your data before the end of your subscription.
After your subscription ends, your data is retained for 30 days and then securely deleted.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create within the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle personal data.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the Service in compliance with all applicable UK laws and regulations.
Ensure that your use of the Service complies with data protection legislation, including UK GDPR, where you act as a data controller for your clients' data.
Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or impair the Service.
Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.

8. Availability and Support

We aim to provide 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice.

Support is available via email. Pro plan customers receive priority support with faster response times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features and branding, is the intellectual property of Apptmint Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
